Your wedding is a special day for many different reasons. Months of planning are spent to create the perfect wedding, but what about your makeup? All Brides want their wedding day to be perfect, and we want that for you too! This is why we recommend a makeup trial before your big day.
A Bridal Trial is a great opportunity for us to meet our Brides. We discuss things about the style of your wedding, such as your dress, colour theme, flowers, venue, and what you envision yourself to look like on the day. Bring someone with you to your trial, for an honest second opinion. We can also discuss the look for your bridal party.
We suggest you book your makeup trial on a date when you have a special occasion. Not only will you look fabulous, you will be able to test our work and get feed back from others.
All trials are held at the location or venue of your choice.
Some Tips for a Perfect Bridal Makeup Trial:
Wear white or soft neutral coloured clothing. This is so that you can see how the makeup looks against a lighter colour, hence your wedding dress.
If you are going to have a spray tan on your wedding day, have a spray tan on your trial. This is so that we can be consistent with your skin tone or else your makeup will appear completely different on your wedding day.
Blows on Fleek. Get your eyebrows shaped, tinted, waxed or threaded a couple days before so that they don’t look red or swollen. It will give your skin time to settle if you are prone to break outs.
Be clear of what you want. Speak your mind. Bring images of what you want your makeup to look like.
The key to flawless looking makeup all starts with your skin. Prepare you skin for your big day. Drink lots of water. Keep lips crack free and soft. As they say, a painting is only as good as its canvas, which is the same with makeup. Looking after your face and skin will ensure your foundation glides on smoothly for a beautiful result.
If you are an unable to get your hair trial done on the same day as your makeup trial, ensure you hair is clean. If you’re thinking of having an updo, then wear your hair up. If you’re thinking of wearing your hair down, then come to the trial wearing your hair down.
